Celebrate the opening of this monumental outdoor installation by Oklahoma City–based artists Denise Duong and Gabriel Friedman, which transforms Campbell Art Park into a landscape of story, symbolism, and discovery. Composed of six sculptural forms—a towering head, an outstretched hand, and four birdlike spheres—the work invites visitors to move through a world where order and chaos intertwine.
Woven steel birds, a cedar figure adorned with floral motifs, and delicate interior drawings of family create a space that is both contemplative and communal. Grounded in chaos theory and shaped by observations of the artists’ young daughter, the installation reflects on connection, care, and the search for meaning within disorder.
Guests are invited to explore the installation and enjoy a private reception from 6:00–8:00 p.m., featuring drinks, light refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with fellow arts supporters.
